I just wanted to pass this along as a warning to everyone. I recently have heard about this new "herb" that's been showing up as the latest party drug. It works as an aphrodesiac and is very common at this time of year. It is most often seen at friendly get-togethers, but may also be showing up at more innocent places such as schools, businesses, restaurants, and even your workplace. The herb is known as Viscum Album, but the street name for it is "Mistletoe." It has been reported that when this is placed over a doorway, friends, family, or even complete strangers will kiss whomever is standing underneath it, almost as if, against their own free will. There have been reports of this mind altering plant showing up as early as November and may still be found disguised as innocent decorations, until sometime after the New Year. Please warn all of your friends and your children about the dangers involved. If you or someone you know plan on attending any social gatherings, make sure you ask if there will be any Mistletoe there. You need to know where it is located, who will be at the party, and most importantly, if there are any plans of any alcohol being served. The effects of the Mistletoe seem to increase when drinking is involved. It may turn a slight kiss on the cheek into a full blown kiss on the lips. Please everyone, be safe this holiday season.
